Oval asymmetric basket

This beautiful asymmetric border was originally designed by Polish basketmaker Stanislaw Dziubak. I love making these baskets, the oval shape accentuates the border and is woven with a variety of coloured willows to give a painterly effect to the surface. All willows are grown organically in King’s Cliffe.
